Community Partnerships
Knowing You Matter works to break the stigma associated with suicide and mental health and bring services to people who have been impacted by suicide-those who are considering suicide, have survived a suicide attempt, or have lost a loved one to suicide. It is our vision to utilize multiple levels of outreach to offer healing, build a community of connectivity and support, and bring hope to those affected by suicide. When you donate through our community partners, you are moving our mission forward and supporting the causes of these local organizations. Mission Cars Vehicle Donation
Mission Cars is a program of Son Care Foundation, Inc. (a nonprofit organization). We discovered that a lot of San Luis Obispo County nonprofits were turning away car donations due to them not being able to fix the cars themselves. Because of this, Mission Cars now has several nonprofit partners all around San Luis Obispo County for whom we sell donated cars for. When you refer a vehicle to Mission Cars or enlist in selling your donated vehicle, 20% of the net proceeds will directly benefit Knowing You Matter.
